Resilience and Symbiosis
Geography · Architecture · Ecology · Society — smart meteorology, panda conservation and highland horse culture
Sichuan leans west onto the Tibetan Plateau and east into the Chengdu basin; that steep drop in altitude creates one of the world's most striking geographic and climatic profiles. The land lives with earthquakes and landslides, yet keeps regenerating — forests return to rubble slopes, Qiang stone villages have stood on fault lines for a thousand years, and villages rebuild after every disaster. Over seven days in July 2026, students from Hong Kong and Macao worked across geography, architecture, ecology and social research to understand how people and nature keep adapting to one another.
